We are thrilled to be able to share with you the details of this year’s Concert by Candlelight, and let you know that tickets are now on sale.
This year we are excited to welcome back local baroque Cellist, Jennifer Janse to lead our musical programme 'A Christmas Cracker'. Jennifer will be joined by Virtuoso recorder player, Olwen Foulkes, and international musicians Philippa Hyde, soprano, and Yat-Soon Yeo, harpsichord. The audience will experience the sounds of gorgeous eighteenth century arias, virtuoso instrumental music, ‘winter’ melodies, and folk tunes mixed with plenty of festive sparkle and carols. Featuring music by Bach, Purcell, Handel and Vivaldi.
